The Choir was born by chance in December 2018 after participating with three pieces of light music, in a charity evening, along with other choirs.
Our choral experience was actually born a few years ago as a liturgical choir of our parish church, and then we approached the sacred polyphonic music of the classical repertoire of the ‘500; we have participated in and organized events for charity or celebration of liturgical events. We have also participated in several competitions for liturgical choirs obtaining results that have stimulated us to continue our journey together.
The experience with modern songs has made us feel the need and the desire to approach new sounds, with pieces of light and popular music setting, as a choir, new goals to be achieved.
We are 11 elements united by a beautiful friendship, without fixed musicians who accompany us, and for this reason we prefer a cappella singing, trying to improve ourselves by refining mutual trust, learning to listen to each other to understand how the voices intertwine and amalgamate, and this thanks to the study of more in-depth vocal techniques and the collaboration of some arrangers, in fact the pieces presented in this event have been rearranged for our choir.
The choir, in this new path, is directed by Laura Tommassini, a chorister who has put herself at stake in this new role, and who with her enthusiasm and new proposals, has managed to channel the energies of individuals in a choral expression in the name of sharing ideas, friendship and music: the common thread of our group.
