In 1993, at the initiative of Olga Pavlovna Belko, the Zhuravachka choir was created. In 1995, the team received the title of “exemplary”. Participants of the exemplary choir Zhuravachka and their leader Olga Belko are true lovers of choral singing. Girls say: “We want our singing to go from heart to heart.” The collective repertoire includes classical works of Russian and foreign composers, folk songs in original compositions, and works by contemporary authors.

The exemplary choir Zhuravachka is the repeated winner of regional, republican and international competitions (more than 25 laureate titles). All participants are proud of the success of their team, striving for victories. For high creative achievements, the team was awarded four times with a prize and the title of diploma winner of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth (2003, 2005, 2007, 2009).

The exemplary choir Zhuravachka is a regular participant in the International Festival of Chamber Youth Choirs “Eurotreff”, Germany (2005-2012). Only in recent years the team has won high awards at such prestigious competitions as the Regional Competition of Choral Teams (Belarus), the International Festival and Competition of National Choral Music “Sudraba zvani” (Latvia), the Choral Festival and Competition “A.V.Sveshnikov and the Present” Kolomna (Russia), International competition-festival of children and youth choral groups “Spring Calls”, Rivne (Ukraine).

Most recently, in April 2013, the exemplary choir ураuravachka took part in the XIII International Festival and Competition of Choral Music TALLIN-2013 (Estonia). The team was awarded a diploma of the second degree. The competition was attended by teams from Sweden, England, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Belarus. The victory at the competition once again confirmed the high choral skills of Zhuravachki. The leader of the choir Olga Belko is doing a lot of work to strengthen international relations, promote Belarusian choral art abroad and glorify her native Molodechno land.

In one interview, the members of the Zhuravachka choir shared their impressions of their concert performances: “It gives us immense joy to sing well, to like the audience, we like all artists like applause. We especially remember and value the Gratitude of the Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsky, the Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Filaret for participating in the 6th Young Talents Performing Festival, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders and for the diploma for the best performance of a spiritual work at this festival. ”

Conductor Olga Belko and her choir Zhuravachka are constantly in creative search, enriching their concert repertoire with new works, striving for new victories and achievements.
