The Jakarta Youth Choir (JYC) was founded on 25 July 2015 by the head of the Youth in Youth and Sport department of DKI Jakarta’s Government (DISPORA), P Ariadi Limbong and a pupil of the Indonesia Youth Exchange Program of DKI Jakarta, as well as JYC choirmaster, Septo Adi Kristanto Simanjuntak. The Jakarta Youth Choir was officially inaugurated on August 30, 2015 by the Head of National Unity and Government Policy of DKI Jakarta, Dr. Jakarta. H. Ratiyono, MMSI.
JYC has actively performed in many events and participated in competitions nationally and internationally. In this way, JYC hopes to continue contributing to the city of Jakarta and Indonesia, while also spreading the values of Indonesian culture.
