Biography

Formed in November 2003, it is currently formed by choristers from 7 to 12 years of age. Since the beginning he has held concerts for important festivals such as the Week of Culture 2004 and 2005 organized by the Municipality of Foggia, the Music Festival in the Courts of Capitanata 2004 organized by the Conservatory “U. Giordano” of Foggia, the Review “Corinfesta 2004” and the Festival Canta Mi La scuola – Junior 2005 organized by ARCOPU (Regional Association of Apulian Choirs).
It can boast participations and prizes in different competitions:

• He won the FENIARCO Special Prize at the 4th National Competition for children’s choirs “Il Garda in coro” in Malcesine (VR) in 2007.
• He participated in the 46th International Competition “C. A. Seghizzi” of Gorizia in 2007.
• He participated in the 1st International Competition for children’s choirs “Il Garda in coro” in Malcesine (VR) in 2008.
• He won the 3rd prize at the CANTAGIOVANI National Competition in Salerno in 2015. President of the Jury M° Mario Lanaro.
• She won the 1st Prize for the Children’s Choirs Category at the International Competition “F. Rossomandi” of Bovino (FG) in 2016 also winning the 1st Absolute Prize for the Choirs Section.
• She won the 1st Prize for the Children’s Choirs Category at the 9th National Competition “U. GIORDANO” of Foggia in 2017.
• She won the 2nd Prize for the Children’s Choirs Category at the 1st National Choral Competition “J. Grima” of Naples in 2019. President of the Jury M° Giovanni Acciai.
• He ranked in the Second Band of Merit at the XVIII International Festival of Music for Children and Youth in Moscow “SOUND MOSCOW” in Moscow held in virtual form in 2020
• He ranked in the Second Band of Merit at the “CHRISTMAS INSIDE 2020 International Choral Competition” in Rome held in virtual form in 2020. President of the Jury M° Pasquale Veleno.

He has given concerts for the concert season Tastes of Music, Music in the Courts of Capitana, Friends of Music – Paisiello di Lucera (FG), Daunia Classica.
He has in his repertoire pieces by classical and contemporary authors. On the occasion of the Christmas concerts he performed the cycle of B. Britten A Ceremony of Carols.

Auditions to join the choir are held annually in September and January.

The Choir is directed by Maestro Luciano Fiore.
