Biography

Established in October 2005, it is made up of young people aged 14 to 26 belonging to high schools and the University of Foggia.
He has given concerts for the concert season Assaggi di Musica performing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana and Mozart’s Requiem; for the 11th Concert Season Music in the Courts of Capitanata organized by the Conservatory “U. Giordano” of Foggia.
In June 2008 he participated in the 1st Festival for Youth Choirs held in Alessandria and in July 2011 he was selected for the National Festival Cantare è giovane in Turin organized by FENIARCO.

It can boast participations and prizes in different competitions:

• In May 2012 he participated in the 5th National Competition for school and youth choirs CANTAGIOVANI of Salerno obtaining the 3rd Prize (1st not assigned), also winning the FENIARCO Prize assigned to the choir with the best vocality and intonation and the prize for the best repertoire proposed. President of the Jury M° Fabrizio Barchi.
• In May 2015 he participated in the 8th National Competition for school and youth choirs CANTAGIOVANI of Salerno obtaining the 2nd Prize (1st not assigned), also winning the Youth Jury Prize assigned by a jury made up of young choristers. President of the Jury M° Mario Lanaro.
• In May 2016 he won the 2nd Prize section Choirs at the International Competition “F. Rossomandi” of Bovino (FG).
• In 2019 she participated in the 12th CANTAGIOVANI National Competition in Salerno winning the 3rd Prize, the “Francesca Viscido” Prize for having unanimously “excited” the jurors and the “Paola Galdi” Prize assigned to its director. President of the Jury M° Tadeja Vulc.
• He ranked in the Second Band of Merit at the XVIII International Festival of Music for Children and Youth in Moscow “SOUND MOSCOW” in Moscow held in virtual form in 2020.
• He ranked in the First Band of Merit at the “CHRISTMAS INSIDE 2020 International Choral Competition” in Rome held in virtual form in 2020. President of the Jury M° Pasquale Veleno.

He has gospel, spiritual, traditional folk repertoire and light music pieces transcribed for choir.

The Choir is directed by Maestro Luciano Fiore.
