Biography

The Santa Bernadette choir, directed by Giuseppe Porchetta, was born with the pastoral visit of St. John Paul II to our parish in December 1990.
It is a liturgical choir that animates the various celebrations of the parish.
He prepared and performed video concerts, animated the prayer of young people in the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone, joined the CoroXCoro initiative (exchange of choirs in Sunday liturgical animation), participated in
concerts with other choirs, at the event organized by Caritas "Quartieri solidali", animated the Holy Mass in the Basilica of San Paolo on the occasion of the parish jubilee, performed concerts at the Sandro Pertini hospital and at the "Villa Alba" care center (accommodation for
disabled).
The repertoire has been enriched with pieces that express, beyond faith, values of brotherhood and joy. Belonging to the Church and, at the same time, the passion for music make us share this project that is lived with commitment and enthusiasm.
Our choir consists of about 25 choristers, 1 conductor, 1 keyboardist, 1 guitarist and 2 flautists.
