In the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Additional Education “Children’s School of Arts r.p. New Burasy of the Saratov Region” there is a children’s choir (founded in 1968). During the existence of the choir, leaders and choirmasters have changed. The choir traditionally for many years took part in socially significant events of the Children’s Art School, regional concerts, holidays: a concert for Teacher’s Day, concerts at school-wide parent meetings at the Children’s Art School, the “Dedication to Musicians” holiday, New Year’s holidays, concerts for Mother’s Day, for the international women’s day – March 8, for the anniversaries of the school, for the holiday – the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory Day, Independence Day of Russia, Children’s Day – June 1, reporting concerts. Concert performances were held on the stages of the Regional House of Culture of the village. New Buras.
Performances of soloists at competitions of the municipal and all-Russian level were awarded with certificates and diplomas.
The soloist of the choir Tukmakova Elizaveta received a diploma of the 2nd degree at the 3rd All-Russian competition of theatrical art “Minifest”, Volgograd, (nomination vocal performance) 17-20.03.2013
Now the number of members of the senior choir is 16 people. Age – from 11 to 15 years. Since 2013, Elena Vladimirovna Kotova has been directing the junior and senior choir of the Children’s Art School.
The performance of the Children’s Art School Choir (leader Kotova E.V., accompanist Kremneva D.A.) continues to be performed at traditional events.

Choirs under the direction of Kotova E.V. performed a lot at regional contests of vocal and choral music, and other concerts. For many years they held the title of laureates, diplomats of the 1st, 2nd degree of the municipal district. In 2013, 2014, they became participants in the I-th CHOIR ASSEMBLY “GOLDEN LIGHTS OF SARATOV”, the All-Russian competition of choirs (regional stage), the international competition “Moscow Sounds -2014”, in the regional competition of choirs “Volskaya Spring-2015” Children’s Choir of the Children’s Art School successfully participated. Became a 1st Degree Diploma.
In 2015, the Children’s Choir was awarded a 3rd degree Diploma in the competition of choirs within the framework of the II th CHOIR ASSEMBLY “GOLDEN LIGHTS OF SARATOV”,
Kotova E.V. was awarded the industry award Honorary Worker of General Education RF, has the highest qualification category.
