Bielski Chór Kameralny (The Chamber Choir of Bielsko-Biała) was established in May 1993 under the auspices of the Bielsko-Biała Cultural Center. It brings together a group of amateurs, people of different professions, passionate about choral art.
From the very beginning, the choir is led by Beata Borowska.
During 30 years of its activity, the Choir undertook many ambitious challenges, performing in Italy, Germany, Greece, Malta, Turkey, China, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam or Israel. A winner of eleven Grand Prix at national and international festivals, as well as many other prestigious choir awards. The Choir’s repertoire includes acapella and accompanied compositions of both sacred and secular nature, representing a variety of musical styles.
A recent project of the Choir was the Polish premiere of orchestral version and the European premiere of organ version of Kim Andre Arnesen’s “The Holy Spirit Mass.”
