Biography
The name of Madách Imre was adopted by our high school in 1921.
The choice of the faculty fell on Imre Madách to “draw strength and encouragement from the memory of the great youth”.
The first baccalaureate was obtained in June 1890, with 40 students; since then, more than fifteen thousand students have graduated from our school.
One of the basic principles of our work today is to respect and cultivate the worthy tradition of the last one hundred and thirty years.
