Unison is one big family!
And as in any beautiful family, here we will find members of all ages. Counting more than 200 voices, the Unison Choir is divided into four distinct groups, delimited by age and voice criteria. Each group has its own repertoire and participates in separate rehearsals, but there is also a common repertoire for various festivals, galas in which sometimes all members of the four groups participate, together under the magic of the sound of music.
UNISON STARS
The UNISON family is not complete without the adult members of the choir, Unison Stars. They are driven by a passion for music, attachment and respect for the conductor, the pleasure of being part of a unique team of extraordinary people, and without having specialized music studies, coming from fields such as engineering, medicine, accounting, construction, art, culture, management, education, computer science, joining the Unison Stars Choir. It is a choir that has a special energy and vibration, which gives sympathy and transmits to any audience. With a rich repertoire, they participate in shows, concerts and have been semi-finalists of the Romanian television program Got Talent and successfully represent the Unison brand, receiving at concerts supported cascades of applause from the audience that appreciates them very much.
The host and manager, George Dumitrascu is a name that many Romanians have heard: from the youngest to the oldest. Born four decades ago, “master George Dumitrascu”, as he is called by many people around, is the ageless man. His philosophy on musical art, a field in which he surpasses himself, is that inspired by platon’s words: “Music provides a soul to the Universe, wings to the mind, flight to imagination and life to everyone, regardless of age”
