The youth choir under the direction of Mamajanova Marina Vasilievna was formed in 2009 on the basis of the Children’s Art School No. AND I. Panitsky, Balakovo. The group’s repertoire consists of works of various stylistic and genre trends, based on works of Russian and foreign classics, as well as arrangements of folk songs.
The team takes an active part in the concert and competitive activities of the school. Laureate of the II degree of the International Internet Competition “Naughty Spring” (Moscow, 2014), Laureate of the I degree of the International Competition – Festival “Rainbow over the Volga” (Naberezhnye Chelny, 2014), Diploma of the II degree of the Silver level I Choral Assemblies “Golden Lights of Saratov” (Saratov, 2013), Diploma of the I degree of the II International Competition – Festival “Spring Chimes” (Saratov, 2012), Laureate of the II degree of the V Open Provincial Festival – Competition ” Golden Lights of Saratov” (Saratov, 2011), where he was also awarded a Diploma for the best performance of contemporary Russian music. The choir has repeatedly become the winner of the Open review – the competition of choirs “Musical Spring” (Volsk).
