Biography

The KANTEGH Choir was created at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Armenian Apostolic Church of the Diocese of Southern Russia in Krasnodar in 2018. The CANTEGH Choir is composed of female voices. The choir’s repertoire includes works from all eras and genres by Western European, Russian and Armenian composers. With concerts and the performance of the Holy Liturgy, the choir performed in various cities of Russia and Armenia. Founder of the choir, Rector of the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Armenian Apostolic Church of the Diocese of Southern Russia, Krasnodar-Father Harutyun Bayadyan. The leader of the choir is the owner of the Grand Prix, winner of international competitions, pianist, singer and regent – Aren Avetyan.
