Biography

The STARSHIY HOR is a laureate of Moscow, All-Russian and international competitions. The team is active in concert activities, performing in the best halls of Moscow: the Bolshoi and Rakhmaninov halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Concert Hall named after. P. I. Tchaikovsky, Hall of Church Councils, etc., recorded on radio and television. The choir showed its skills in many cities of Russia and abroad – Germany, Spain, Italy, Serbia, China, etc.
The choir is the owner of two gold diplomas at the International Choir Competition 2019 (Maastricht, the Netherlands), the absolute winner of the International Internet Music Competition 2019 (Serbia) in the Choir nomination. In 2020, he won the Grand Prix of the International Competition-Festival “Championship of Russia”, the All-Russian Competition “I CAN! Online”, Open Internet Competition “Victory for All Seasons” in the nomination “Chorus”, etc.
The repertoire includes works of Russian and foreign classics, works by contemporary composers, folk songs, sacred music.
