Biography

The Vozrozhdenie Choir was created in February 2018 from graduates of different years of the Choral Department of the Joy Center. All of them found themselves in other professions, but they are still united by their love for music and choral singing. The choir’s repertoire consists of the best examples of Russian sacred and classical music, Western European classics, music by contemporary composers, folk music of Russia and the world.
The team successfully performs at the most prestigious venues in Moscow, including: the Big, Small and Rachmaninov Halls of the Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky, Svetlanovsky Hall of the Moscow International House of Music, Column Hall of the House of Unions, Concert Halls: named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Zaryadye and others.
The choir is a laureate and owner of the Grand Prix of the International Choir Festivals: in Bratislava (2018), “Chorus Inside” in Spain (2019), “Crystal Chapel” (2018), “Moscow Sounds” (2018, 2019, 2020) ), etc. As well as international online competitions in 2020: CAMPANELLA (Grand Prix), Pokrova on the Neva-2020 (1st place), etc.
The Vozrozhdenie choir has toured St. Petersburg, Uglich, Kaluga, Tver, Zhukovsky, Nizhny Novgorod, as well as in European countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, and Spain. The team regularly travels to the holy places of Russia (Vvedensky stauropegial monastery Optina Pustyn, Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky monastery and others), was a member of the Nativity Choral Cathedral in the Cathedral in Nizhny Novgorod.
