The choir group “Pyatnashki” includes students of the fourth and seventh grades of the choral department of the Children’s Music School No. 15 of the Academgorodok of the city of Novosibirsk.
The choir performs on the professional stages of Novosibirsk: the Bolshoi and Chamber Halls of the Philharmonic. A.M. Katz, the Great Hall of the Glinka State Conservatory and other scenes.
The choir’s repertoire is varied: songs of the peoples of the world, Russian and foreign classics, romances and choirs from operas, modern songs.
The choir is the winner of international, all-Russian, regional and city competitions of choirs: International choir assemblies “Eurasia cantat” (Yekaterinburg, 2017), International Choir Competition named after Mikhail Klimov (Kazan, 2018), Grand Prix of the International Competition-Festival “Golden Siberia” (Novosibirsk, 2018), VII International Choral Competition-Festival named after Semyon Kazachkov (Kazan, 2018), All-Russian competition of vocal and choral art “Horos” (Barnaul, 2018), All-Russian Choral Festival (Novosibirsk, 2019), Rimini International Choral Competition ( Rimini 2019)
The founder, artistic director and conductor of the Pyatnashki choir is Svetlana Shikhovtseva, an honorary worker of culture of the Novosibirsk region – the head of the choral and vocal departments of the Children’s Music School No. 15 in Novosibirsk, concertmasters: Natalya Tarasova (piano, percussion), Angelina Salnikova (piano), Dmitry Medvedev (bayan)
