Biografia

Choir Gaudeamus of the Nysa Cultural Center was established in 2013. The founder and conductor of the group is Izabela Gach – Kaszuba. The band very actively participates in the cultural life of the city and promotes its culture by participating in concerts and competitions in the country and abroad.

The band’s greatest successes are:

– silver diploma and distinction for the most interesting performance of a work by a Polish composer at the National Sacred Music Competition ‘Dona Nobis Pacem’ in Wrocław (2023)

– silver medal at the 51st International “Festival of Songs Olomouc” in the Czech Republic (2024)

-performance at a ceremonial concert at the Academy of Music in Wrocław on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Faculty of Music Education, Choral Studies and Church Music (2024)

The choir gave concerts in Hungary and the Czech Republic. Since 2022, the choir has been participating in the nationwide project of the National Forum of Music in Wrocław – “Singing Poland”.
