Biography

The choir continues the important choral tradition that originated in Anagni in the early 1900s.

It was established in 1983 as part of the Parish of St. John and directed by Maestro Brandi since 1988 and then, uninterruptedly since 1993.

Over the years the choir has grown by expanding the repertoire, refining its expressive and interpretative skills, renewing and increasing the staff that, currently, has about 40 elements.

The "Coro Polifonico Città di Anagni" constantly animates the solemn celebrations of the Cathedral of Anagni and has always carried out regular concert activity having participated in numerous and appreciated concerts, choral festivals, theatrical performances, important cultural and religious events, enjoying success everywhere and recognition of sympathy and esteem for the quality and warmth of the performances. The collaboration with other choirs, orchestras and bands confirm the versatility and vastness of the choir's repertoire.
