Biography

The choral group MUSICALMENTE INSIEME was born as a voluntary association in San Biagio (Municipality of Bagnolo San Vito) in 2007, under the direction of Maestro Lorenzo Valente, pianist and teacher in the Middle School of Borgoforte. The mixed voice choir, composed of about 20 people including sopranos, mezzo sopranos, altos, tenors and basses, is often accompanied by a group of musicians (including G. Cordioli, V. Orlandi – guitar and electric bass; A. Giavazzi – flute, M. Lodi Rizzini – violin). The formation has performed in numerous events and anniversaries: from Christmas concerts, to exhibitions in historic buildings, from twinning between choirs, to civil and religious festivals. The group has adopted a rainbow as its symbol to represent its vocal and repertoire variety. The purpose of the association is to spread musical knowledge through socialization, sharing and inclusion. To pursue this ambitious goal, the Choir has always performed not only in theaters and squares, but also in parishes, nursing homes, schools, etc.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Lorenzo Valente graduated in Piano at the Conservatory "L. Refice" of Frosinone with honors. He attended master classes in improvisation technique, interpretation, arrangement, musical informatics and sound-engineering. He later graduated in Jazz Arrangement and Composition with honors at the Conservatory "L. Refice" of Frosinone, in Musical Informatics at the "Steinberg Educational" – Midiware Italia and in Electronic Music. He has attended numerous international specialization courses including the XXXVII° Siena Jazz Specialization Course in Jazz Arrangement and Composition. He has also participated, obtaining unanimous consent, in various competitions, concerts and festivals as a classical pianist, jazz pianist, composer, arranger and sound-engineer. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Music Teaching at the Conservatory "F. dall'Abaco" of Verona and since 2006 he has been professor of Piano at the Secondary School of First Degree with Musical Address "G. Leopardi" of Borgoforte (MN). Parallel to his concert activity (especially in ensemble), he teaches piano, percussion, electronic music and musical informatics in various realities of the Province of Mantua. He has been the director of the Musicalmente Insieme Choir since 2007, the year of its foundation.

CHAIRMAN
Greta Cordioli was born on January 14, 1992 in Villafranca di Verona. Graduated from the Conservatory of Mantua in Classical Guitar, since 2010 she has been performing concerts and teaching. For several years he has been teaching guitar, music education and legality in the Secondary Schools of the Province of Mantua. He collaborates with various cultural associations and music schools as a musician and teacher of classical guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, flute, ensemble music and copyright. Parallel to her musical training, she graduated with honors in Law at the University of Trento with a thesis on intellectual property. The passion for the arts in general has led her to deepen the issues of copyright and the protection of cultural heritage. She is currently enrolled in the degree course in Economics and Management of Cultural Activities. Since 2016 he has collaborated with the Musicalmente Insieme Choir as a musician and since February 2019 he has been its president.
