The choir “Goccia dopo Goccia” was born in 2010 from an idea of the maestro Pietro Vigani within the experiences that take place at the Accademia Centro Studi Musicali in Bergamo.
The choir, before the COVID period, was divided into various groups:
twenty children, from five to eight years old, who composed the preparatory choir, the concert formations of the “Gocce” were composed of twenty-two choristers for the “Voci Bianche” section and twenty-three choristers for the “Youth” section.
The conductors, Pietro Vigani and Gianpietro Bocchi, deal with both the artistic part and the technical vocal preparation of the choristers.
The choir has participated in numerous concert events in different locations in the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Lecco, Piacenza, Mantua, Venice, Rome, Rimini, Arezzo, Varese, Milan.
The choir has also participated in national and international competitions of clear fame, in particular in 2018 at the XXXVI edition of the Franchino Gaffurio competition in Quartiano di Lodi winning the gold band both in the children’s voices section and in the youth choirs section, the special prize to the conductors for the best repertoire of the whole competition and the prize to the youth choir for the song “This little Babe” with the third score highest of the whole contest.
Also in 2018 at the CorAmare international competition in Sestri Levante, the children’s choir ranked as the best of the section and the youth choir ranked first overall and in Arezzo at the Guido D’Arezzo National Competition the White Voices of are classified in third place.
