The Choir was born in the parish of St. John the Baptist took off in Bivongi in 1978.

In all these years the Choir has experienced many beautiful moments of growth both musical but mainly spiritual.

It has promoted many initiatives both at a territorial level in the Calabria region and outside the region.

The Choir meets at least 2 times a week for rehearsals and every Sunday of the year sings at Sunday Mass.

It also organizes gatherings of inter-parish choirs and at Christmas and Easter a Concert for choir and orchestra.

At various times of the year, both musical and spiritual formation meetings are prepared, inviting theologians and conductors of a certain depth.

The Director of the choir is Maestro Attilio Lorenti.
