The “San Vitale” Choir of Ceggia, began its activity at the end of 1979 with the main purpose of animating the liturgical celebrations.
The Choir composed of about 40 elements, has been directed for about 20 years by Graziano Moro assisted on the organ since 1992 by Maestro Riccardo Gambino Rupil, currently the new director is Maestro Massimo Bortolotti.
Over the years the Choir has held numerous concerts even outside the country. In 1994 she was a guest in Moncalvo (Asti), at the Sanctuary of Crea (Alessandria) for an important musical event, and in 1995 she held concerts in Barberino Val D’Elsa (Florence) and Bracciano (Rome).
Since 1995 he has participated in the “Review of Christmas Carols” in Ceggia on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
Since 1997 the Choir has organized the review of Christmas choral songs.
Recently the Choir has experienced a remarkable internal rotation with the arrival of young members.
This Choir counts among its merits the excellent harmony between the voices, the balance of the sound and the constant commitment.
Its members are not professionals and carry out this activity with enthusiasm because choral singing gives joy and relieves the spirit from the anguish and annoyances of everyday life.
