Biography

The Cultural Association “I TEATANTI” was established in 2016. Representing dialect comedies, written and directed by the founding partner Franco Mammarella. At the beginning of the year 2018 the Association started the formation of the choir, initially aimed at participating in the musical comedy “Stu matremonie… Sa da fa”, represented at Fara S.M. in October of the same year, in Spoltore in the following month and in December at the Auditorium Supercinema, also of the same year; in Francavilla in July 2019 and again in Chieti, Teatro Marrucino in December of the same year. In addition, as a single choir, in these two years, it has participated in other events, with charitable purposes, such as the Retirement Home of Chieti and the local festival of St. Camillus De Lellis. The Choir born as an expression of Abruzzo folklore, will later join this other musical roads, such as songs related to the religious area, that of Neapolitan songs, folklore of other regions.
