Biography

The "Benedict XVI Choir" is a reality born following the establishment of "La Schola Cantorum Benedetto XVI" in Lamezia Terme, the result of an agreement stipulated between the Tchaikovsky Higher Institute of Musical Studies of Nocera Terinese and the Diocese of Lamezia Terme under the patronage of the CEI, with the aim of creating a container that was an expression of the identity of the Lametine Church".
The Choir brings together singers from all the parishes of the Diocese, different territories and identities who have begun a common journey of faith and today has a number of choristers between 100 and 150, one of the most significant diocesan choirs in Southern Italy.
The Choir is directed by the teacher of the Lametino music high school, Sara Saladino.
