The choristers of the Harmonia Mundi Polyphonic Choir began their adventure in 2006 with a “Choral Singing Course” at the UNITRE association in Macomer. Initially, representing the aforementioned association, they performed in various events such as university conferences, inaugurations, openings of the academic years. In 2013, on the initiative of his teacher Rossana Cossu and the group of choristers, the amateur choir “Coro Polifonico Harmonia Mundi” was born, whose repertoire extends from the sacred to the profane, with particular attention to the songs of the Sardinian tradition and the spiritual genre. Over the years, the choir has grown both in number (currently composed of 29 elements) and as an activity, among which also stand out socio-cultural initiatives of a local and regional nature, which highlight the commitment of the association beyond the choral activity.
