Born in 2004 in Matera, and constituting itself in the Association on (22/12/2009) the Polyphonic Rosa Ponselle immediately came to the attention of the community for a different musical language and choral repertoire. Prepared and directed since its foundation by Maestro Giuseppe Ciaramella, the ensemble has performed in the main sacred and concert venues in Lucania. He has also participated in the concerts of the Piccini Foundation of Bari, Matera MusicArte, Periscopio, Itinerari Barocchi and MayFest (CE).He has performed world premieres in the Basilicata Region and Southern Italy: Requiem K626 in the version of P.Lincthental by W.A.Mozart, the Funeral and Triumphal Symphony op.15 H.Berlioz, with the realization of a live CD “La Passione secondo Matteo” BWV n° 244,”Hun komm, der Heiden Heiland”,Cantata BWV n°61 by J.S.Bach and the Hail Marys by G.Rossini, F.Liszt, C.Saint-Seans, the Sacris Solemnis of I.Reimann.

She performed at Villa Campolieto – Ercolano (home of Mibac Campania) and participated, as a guest, in Castellaneta (TA) at the Crisalide 2010 live on TELEVISION on SKY channels with Maria Teresa Ruta and Enzo Costanza. He participated in the realization of the first edition year 2010 of “Il canto dell’incanto” animation and musical involvement within the largest living Nativity scene in the world in the Sassi district of Matera. She has performed on behalf of the Italian Society for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (SIPBC) and for the National Cral Poste in the framework of the National Competition of extemporaneous painting. For the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy he performed at the Auditorium Gervasio, Palazzo Lanfranchi and the Castle of Miglionico Cori d’Opera taken from the Verdi repertoire. On May 27, 2012 he took part with the Chamber Ochestra of Matera at the Sanctuary of Caiazzo (CE), took part organized by the Archdiocese of Matera-Irsina in Matera to the white nights of sacred music “Light in the Faith” 2012/2013/2014/2018 with performance at the Churches of S. Chiara, Purgatory, San Rocco, and the Theological and Artistic Path on the “Creed” 2013/2014 with execution at the Churches of San Giovanni Battista and Sant’Antonio. On December 8, 2012 always with the Chamber Orchestra of Matera he premiered the Ades composed by Maestro G. Ciaramella on text by M. Francipane. On February 14, 2013 she performed at the Artistic Laboratory of the MiBac of Matera on the occasion of the return of the Triumphal Chariot of bruna built for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.

He performed Vivaldi’s Gloria with the Chamber Orchestra of Matera on the occasion of the Christmas Concert 2014, in addition, a Marian concert at the Basilica of Viggiano (PZ). He inaugurated and concluded at the Basilica S. Maria in Montesanto (Church of the Artists, Piazza del Popolo-Rome) the Pastoral Year 2014 with animation of the Holy Masses on October 27, 2013 and June 29, 2014. In the same place on June 29, 2014 she performed with the Chamber Orchestra of Matera in a concert entitled “Tu es Petrus” receiving unanimous acclaim from the public and critics. He has given performances in the prestigious Royal Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro (Cathedral of Naples) in the framework of the presentation of the book “Notes of Naples” Prof. Niglio, at the church of the Precious Blood (Bari) and the Basilica of San Michele Arcangelo (Monte Sant’Angelo) Fg . She took part in the performance of the Marian Oratorio “Nigra Sum sed formosa” by Maestro D’Ambrosio with the creation of a live CD and for the Christmas concerts 2016 she performed on behalf of the Polo Museale della Basilicata in the Museums of Potenza, Venosa and Matera.

Repeatedly she was a guest at Palazzo Lanfranchi (Matera) also on the occasion of the presentation of the “Twilight of the Iguana” by Prof. F. Niglio. He has given performances in Paola (CS) at the Basilica-Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola, and at the church of Saints Dominic and Sixtus on the Quirinale-Rome with the collaboration in a Sacred representation of the MusicArte Quintet and actresses Irma Ciaramella and Filly Balice. She was a guest at the Hotel Matera in the presentation of the book “Un giorno vidi la Luce” by S. Mazzarone and in September 2018 in Pisticci in a concert of classic Italian and Neapolitan songs with the participation of the soprano Chiara Lavecchia. On 26 and 27 January 2019 she was invited again to the Basilica S. Maria in Montesanto (Church of the Artists, Piazza del Popolo-Rome) with a concert and animation of the religious function with the participation of the Musicarte-Quintet and the soprano Maria Palmitesta. Guest of the 67th meeting Nation of the Bersaglieri in Matera with a double performance, both at the Auditorium Gervasio, and in the Cathedral Basilica. He also took part in the choral festivals “Liber in Canti” of Eboli and the 5th Choral Review “San Teodosio martire” of Pietragalla and the concerts organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Matera in Christmas 2019 in which the MusicArte Trio and the sopranos Maria Grazia Carrieri, Chiara Lavecchia and Maria Palmitesta participated in the events.
