Biography

The “Sacred Heart” Choir was founded in 2007 at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Milazzo with the aim of continuing the work of the previous experiences of liturgical animation delivered by Mgr. Giuseppe Cutropia.
The idea is to make prayer pleasant, enhancing with music the ability of each one to express himself.
The Choir has always been open to all, and few of the choristers have studied music, this has not prevented over time to expand its repertoire by opening up to the study of various genres of music both sacred and profane.
The Choir in addition to animating the main religious functions, is invited to animate weddings and celebrations even outside the parish. He has participated in various exhibitions both within the Parish of the Sacred Heart and in other realities.
Each concert is an artistic journey of songs, readings, reflections taken from poetic compositions or popular tradition, which aims to communicate, in addition to the pleasure for singing, also a message of higher value.
The Choir is made up of 25 elements accompanied on the organ by Dr. Mario Bitto on percussion Saro Bizio. The choir is conducted by Rossana Buonarrigo.
