Founded in 1996, the Francis Poulenc female chamber choir is directed by Maestro Roberto Braglia Orlandini. Currently it makes use of ten female voices that offer the public a repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to twentieth-century compositions.
Affinities and musical harmony are the stimuli that allow the achievement of a color, an interpretation, a vision of fluid and global music, attentive to the possible interconnections of creative thought and more generally, artistic, through the centuries. According to this principle, the choir is dedicated to the study of the repertoire tending to combine the gradual growth of technical skills with the specific characteristics of each individual musical genre. In addition to important performances such as the international festival "Alta Pusteria" held in the prestigious "Sala Mahler" in Dobbiaco, concerts at the Bibiena in Mantua and Palazzo Te, in 2009 he participated in the International Tim Music Competition qualifying for the final phase and obtaining the "diploma of honor".
In 2010 he finally released, in world premiere, a CD of the ensemble that proposes the solemn mass "Et loquar ad cor ejus", "Salve Regina" and Psalm 111 "Beatus vir qui timet Dominum", original compositions by Maestro Roberto Braglia Orlandini for piano, solo and female choir for the prestigious record company Tactus. Recently the choir participated in the Matilde 2015 event as well as in the event "L'Incanto a Palazzo" in the enchanting palazzo Ducale in Mantua, 2018 and 2019 editions continuing with "L'incanto a Polirone" in the valuable abbey of San Benedetto Po.
The choir has also been active in the organization of the I and II Choral Review "Gratia Plena" in the suggestive Matildic Pieve of San Lorenzo in Pegognaga, enjoying great success for the professionalism and hospitality demonstrated.
