Biography
The polyphonic choir “Petra Ensemble”, formed in the autumn of 2010, currently consists of about 35 elements, divided into five vocal groups: sopranos, altos, tenors I, tenors II and basses, skillfully directed by Ins. Michele Cerami.
The choir cheered the Solemn Mass of Christmas Night, the Easter Triduum, and other important Eucharistic celebrations, performed on the occasion of the Meeting of the Madonie polyphonic choirs and on the occasion of the Feast for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy in an unprecedented performance with the Musical Band “G. Verdi” and a group of children from the Istituto Comprensivo “G. Verga”, both by Petralia Soprana.
