Biography

The Youth Choir of the Parish of Poggio Renatico (FE) was founded in 1986.

Many are the young people and young people of our community who have been part of it. There have been many Holy Masses, weddings and concert festivals of choirs animated in these long years. Many satisfactions for successful executions and for the compliments received. There are also several disappointments, but only because of poorly digested polyphonic songs.

However, the enthusiasm lavished by the singers, young and old, current and past, has always been and still is great and joyful. And this is how the Choir has also become a “small big family”: being part of it, in fact, does not only mean participating in rehearsals or animating Masses, but also sharing real moments of life. From the first goals (an eighth grade exam, a diploma) to the fundamental stages (degrees, marriages, births), everyone is involved in every event.

The Youth Choir is, therefore, a small life experience, but we must not forget that the engine that moves the song is always to praise and pray to the Lord and thus express one’s faith and the joy that derives from this.

The intention of all is to continue this journey undertaken many years ago trying to involve even more or less young people who wish to use some of their free time to sing in company and to support the service that the Choir is offering to our parish.
