Biography

The women's choir "Isabella Gonzaga" of Porto Mantovano is an association founded in 1998. It takes its name from the Marquise Isabella D'Este who brought to the court of the Gonzaga of Mantua her love for all the arts including music.

The repertoire of the Choir ranges in various musical genres: African-American gospel and spirituals, traditional Italian songs, Christmas songs and songs from the most famous musicals.

The choir "Isabella Gonzaga" tries to bring, through music, a message of solidarity, hope and love combined with the pleasure of listening.

Since 2018 the choir is directed by Maestro Davide Teramano and accompanied by a quartet of saxophones and a percussionist.
