The current Choir "St. Francis of Assisi" was born from the union of the Schola Cantorum, already existing in 1980, and the Boys' Choir, formed in the 90s.
The first collective, formed by numerous adult singers and with a vast repertoire of songs, also for two voices, was directed by Antonella Rollo, organist of the Parish since October 1980.
The boys' choir was made up of young catechists and some boys and girls from the ACR.
Subsequently, at the departure of Sister Federica, the direction was taken over by Rosalba Iacono.
For about 8 years the two choirs have merged into a single choir, St. Francis of Assisi, which animates at least 3 weekly Masses and participates in choirs and concerts, with a fairly varied repertoire that has a particular predilection for Franciscan songs.
The Choir in this new version, participated in the Jubilee of Chorales, organized in Rome in 2016 by Don Marco Frisina.
The long pandemic period of 2020/2021 has not interrupted the weekly preparation of choristers and participation in liturgies.
