The choir "SS.Martyrs of Uganda", was founded in 2015 as a parish choir and still maintains this role by animating the Eucharistic celebrations of its parish under the direction of Angela Drago Ragusa and on some special occasions, such as concerts and singing festivals, under the direction of Stefano Sinisgalli.
The repertoire created over time and constantly growing includes both liturgical songs and sacred polyphonic songs of modern authors. Particular attention is paid to the choice of songs, always seeking relevance to the liturgical season in progress and the sacred scriptures that make up the Holy Mass.
In recent years, the choir has been enriched with new voices and instrumentalists, counting about 36 members, of which 10 children's voices, 14 adult voices and 12 instrumentalists; the enthusiasm that permeates the entire group, has found an amalgam and a harmony that binds everyone with a deep relationship of friendship and esteem.
Between 2019 and 2020, the choir takes part in two singing events:
• in October 2019, the choir ranks first among the most voted choirs online, in the third edition of the festival of parish choirs in Rome "Cantate inni con arte", participating in the published category, with the song "Alleluia lode cosmica" by Stefano Puri.
• in December 2020, the choir ranks second among the most voted choirs online, in the national choral review "Canto oltre alla paura", participating in the "virtual choir" section with the song "Baba Yetu" by Christopher Tin.
