The Cultural-Musical Association VivArte was founded in Sternatia (Le) in 2016 with the aim of sharing the passion for music and singing. The association consists of a polyphonic choir of about 25 elements (in the photo the female component) and passionate supporters of musical art and other various cultural forms. There are already many concerts held throughout Salento, the repertoire that it carries out includes various musical genres; as many are the collaborations with other cultural associations in support of various events. Since its inception, the association has its artistic direction in the figure of Maestro Giusy Zangari.
Giusy Zangari
born in Mammola (RC), graduated in Piano and Opera Singing at the Conservatory F. Cilea of Reggio Calabria, also graduated in Early Music – Baroque Singing at cons.Tito Schipa of Lecce. She was artistic director now director emeritus, of the polyphonic choir "Exultate Deo" of Mammola (RC);
Diocesan organist of the diocese of Locri-Gerace (RC)
He attended various courses of "Technique and Lyric Interpretation" of "Choral Direction and Vocality" in Calabria and Puglia.
Winner of various singing competitions, she alternates her activity as a music teacher in schools with that of artistic director of various polyphonic choirs in some associations: "VivArte"- Sternatia, "Coro Caffè letterario"- Nardò", to that of pianist and soprano soloist throughout Italy.
Solo voice in the oratorios of Mons.Frisina performed in the province of Salento; she plays intensely as a soprano of the Lyric Choir of Lecce in the opera seasons of the Teatro Politeama Greco and various Apulian theaters.
