Biography

The Monti Azzurri choir was founded in 1997 under the direction of Maestro Fabiano Pippa who currently deals with the research and harmonization of marche folk songs.

Formed by male and female voices, it presents itself with a repertoire of Italian and foreign folk songs with particular reference to the research and revaluation of songs from the Marche region.

He has participated in concerts and exhibitions in different Italian regions.

Every year he organizes the “Monti Azzurri” festival with the aim of enhancing the local folk song, he is the promoter of a summer concert and a review organized during the Christmas period.

Currently the choir is directed by Maestro Maurizio Maffezzoli.
