The Nicolas Montes children’s choir, was born in the municipality of San José de Comayagua, on August 11, 2022, it began with children who attended the municipality school which is named ‘Nicolás Montes’ urban school; It began by teaching classes to all the students of the institution, reaching an amount of approximately 75 students.

The teachers in charge of creating this children’s choir were: Dairy Dubon and Marvin Aguilar, who taught 1 hour of classes a week, teaching canons, following the global method of maestro José María Sciutto.

The classes were taught for 3 months and over time some children disintegrated, but in the end the goal of creating a children’s choir in this community has been achieved, with a number of 30 children, between the ages of 9 and 11. age.
