The University of Agriculture in Krakow Choir
founded in December 2003 on the initiative of Professor Kazimierz Wiech, the Choir of the University of Agriculture in Krakow brings together students, graduates, and faculty, united by their passion for choral artistry. Its repertoire is a rich tapestry that weaves together diverse styles, genres, and eras – from Renaissance masterpieces to contemporary jazz, from folk traditions to celebrated compositions by renowned modern composers, encompassing both instrumental and vocal works.
This eclectic selection results in an ever-evolving array of captivating programs, which the Choir has presented in various formations at hundreds of concerts, both in Poland and abroad, over the past two decades.
With an impressive record of over forty awards, the Choir has triumphed in competitions and festivals across Europe, leaving its mark on stages in Spain, Greece, North Macedonia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Romania, France, and Germany. All of this has been achieved under the keen guidance – and, indeed, the skilled hand – of its conductor, Joanna Gutowska-Kuzmicz, who has led the ensemble with unwavering dedication since its very inception.
