The University of Social Sciences (Społeczna Akacemia Nauk) Academic Choir was established in 2005. The choir was twice awarded at the National Festival “Cantate Deo” in Rzeszów.

In 2009 at the International Festival in Rumia received a distinction. In 2012 and 2014, at the International Choral Festival in Gdańsk received bronze medals in two categories. In 2011 and 2013, at the Festival “Canto Lodzienzis”, the choir won the third prize.   The International Festival in Międzyzdroje in 2013 brought about the third prize in the category of  “Musica Sacra” for the choir.

The choir also participated in the recording of vocal tracks for TV commercials (inter alia “Vitaminer”). It actively performs in Poland and abroad.

The founder and conductor of the choir is Renata Banacka-Walczak who is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Lódź .

The Singing Society “Lutnia” from Aleksandrow Lodzki has existed there for 110 years.
