Biography

It is a choral and instrumental group born in December 2013 under the wise guidance of Maestro Giuseppe Pignatelli in order to promote socialization among people united by a passion for music. It is currently directed by Maestro Cesare Buccitti and consists of 30 amateur choristers divided into four sections (SATB) and five professional instrumentalists (Oboe, Violin, Cello, Keyboards and Percussion). Encouraged by the favor encountered since the first concerts, the Choir has increasingly expanded its repertoire, ranging from sacred to popular music, from secular music to negro spirituals, from traditional songs to compositions by contemporary authors, soundtracks and pop music. All the arrangements in the repertoire are a peculiarity and an exclusive of our Choir, as they are specially made for us by the masters G. Pignatelli and C. Buccitti. Since January 2017 the Ensemble has been directed by Maestro Cesare Buccitti and has added to the name of origin (Nuove Armonie Ensemble) the name of Maestro Pignatelli, to whom the choir was dedicated, with sincere gratitude and undying memories.
