Biography

The Association was established in Chieti by the will of a small group of friends passionate about theater, music and “bel canto” on February 12, 1996, with the aim of promoting those activities that have as their purpose the dissemination of Art in all its forms. To this end, various cultural groups operate, each with its own artistic address. The “Giacomo Puccini” Choir is, without a doubt, the “flagship” of the Association. He made his debut, officially, with great success with the public and critics, at the Teatro “Marrucino” in Chieti on June 6, 1997 performing, subsequently, in highly applauded concerts in other events in various locations. It includes over 50 choristers and choristers, among whom there are elements with excellent vocal qualities, validly used in supporting solo parts such as the Sopranos Sabina Davide and Maria Chiara Papale. The Tenor Ennio Del Grosso and the Baritone Giuseppe Nubile collaborate permanently with the Choir. With their beautiful voices and great expressive qualities they interpret the solo parts of greater commitment and importance. He accompanies Daria Coletti on the piano. The artistic direction is entrusted to Maestro Loris Medoro.
