The polyphonic choir is currently made up of 24 elements and has the task of animating the festive liturgical celebrations, therefore its activity is closely linked to the liturgical calendar.
The choir is led by Prof. Loredana Bastanza, professor of Music Education in the Secondary School.
The choir was born in January 2013, initially with a simple repertoire and a single voice. However, thanks to the commitment and the ever-growing passion of the choristers, he soon began to take his first steps in polyphony. It is currently a choir with three mixed voices composed as follows:
14 SOPRANOS
7 CONTRALTOS
3 TENORS
During the weekly rehearsals the technical-musical preparation of the choristers takes place and indications are given on the liturgical choices of the songs in order to promote awareness of the ministry that we are called to carry out.
Each trial begins with a moment of community prayer, but we try to encourage other moments of prayer, encounter and formation, whenever the possibility arises.
