THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UKRAINIAN CHOIRS IS BORN!
An organization, based in Kiev, which coordinates and promotes the activity of many Ukrainian choirs and is committed to spreading the musical and choral culture of Ukraine in the world.
The Association is affiliated to the International Federation CHORUS INSIDE.

1921-2021 ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF CHOIR

A great event that makes us proud… as a Federation we are honored to have among the associated choirs an excellence that celebrates 100 years of activity!!!!!
The Choir “LA FIGLIA DI JORIO” of Orsogna, a collective deeply rooted in the territory of origin, which over the years has become a vehicle of culture and musical tradition of Abruzzo all over the world.
It is certified that the Choir was founded in 1921 on the initiative of Attilio Bartoletti who, with the collaboration of some young people of the local “Schola Cantorum”, began the preparation of a folk program. The first performance of the choir took place in August 1921 in the Laroma district of Casoli.
A great goal achieved by the Choir LA FIGLIA DI JORIO… a rich wealth of experience acquired over 100 years that give the current collective the awareness of its origins, of the long path undertaken and the clear vision of the objectives still to be achieved.
The Board of FEDERCORI together with all the associated Choirs congratulate the President Alessandro Bene, Maestro Mario Tenaglia and all the members of the Choir!!!

SILVER MEDAL at the Global Music Awards for Maestro Michele Josia

We are proud to inform all members, that Maestro Michele Josia (Member of the National Artistic Commission) won the SILVER MEDAL at the Global Music Awards held in California, for the music composed for the feature film III SMOKING BARRELS, in collaboration with Anurag Saikia.

CONVOCATION OF THE GENERAL MEETING

The online Ordinary General Assembly (link on zoom platform) will take place on first call on 25 July 2021 at 7:00 am, and on second call on 25 July 2021 at 4:00 pm, to examine and discuss the following agenda: 1) Report of the National President on the federative activities carried out in the year 2020; 2) Presentation and approval of the 2020 final report; 3) Presentation and approval of the program and the 2021 budget statement; 4) Extra Fus Design – updated situation and programming; 5) Insurance coverage of the associated choirs; 6) Miscellaneous and eventual. On June 29, 2021, the convocation was sent to all the legal representatives of the regional associations.

Michele Faustino Loda was born in 1978 in Brescia (Italy), where he obtained his Classical High School diploma in 1996. At the Pontifical Lateran University (Vatican City) he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Sacred Theology and subsequently a Licentiate in Fundamental Theology with honors. Graduated summa laude in Gregorian Chant at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music (Vatican City) with Franz Karl Praβl, he obtained the Master’s Degree in Prepolyphony at the State Conservatory of Music G. Verdi” of Turin (Italy) under the guidance of Fulvio Rampi, deserving praise and honorable mention. He is currently Head and Conductor of the Joint Choir of the Military Ordinariate for Italy and Maestro di Cappella of the Pantheon in Rome. Awarded with various civil and ecclesiastical merits, since 2017 he has been a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.

XXI national competition of vocal and instrumental music "Gavino Gabriel"

The Secondary School of 1st Degree of Siurgus Donigala, detached section of Mandas, together with the Cultural Associations: Choir of the Sacred Rosary – The Choir of Siurgus Donigala announces the XXI Edition of the NATIONAL COMPETITION OF VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC “Gavino Gabriel” intended for students attending the Primary School, the Secondary School of 1st Degree Traditional and Musical Address, Musical High Schools, students of the Conservatory, Academies, Civic Schools, Band Projects and Cultural Associations, with a maximum age of 20 years. The Competition will be held in Siurgus Donigala (SU) from 17 to 20 May 2021, at the Teatro Civico Comunale, according to the following calendar:

  • From Monday 17 to Thursday 20 from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00 the AUDITIONS will take place;
  • Monday, May 24 at 10:00 am will take place the AWARDS of the First Prizes and First Prizes Absolute

All tests, as a result of the restrictions due to COVID-19, are reserved only for participating students and teachers enrolled in the Competition.
